DraftKings Price: $4,900
The only problem with using New Orleans Pelicans center Jahlil Okafor is his potentially sky-high ownership percentage. Starting for the injured Anthony Davis in each of the past two games, the fourth-year player has compiled two double-doubles and torched opponents for 40.0 and 40.5 DraftKings points, respectively.
He'll look to continue this high level of play tonight when the Pels take on the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Okafor hasn't really had a chance to showcase his skills against the Thunder since he received 30 minutes against them in his 2015-16 rookie season.
In fact, finding minutes against any team has been a struggle for him the past two seasons. Okafor has played 20 or more minutes just 8 times across 55 combined games over the past two seasons. He's clearly not missing the opportunity to produce when given the chance, however, and he'll almost certainly start again tonight. He's played 35 and 30 minutes in the past two games, but he could have a chance for even more minutes tonight as the Pelicans could be without fellow big Nikola Mirotic, who strained his calf last night.
Whether Mirotic takes the court or not, our models have Okafor in for another big game. We project him to score 31.4 DraftKings points and return the best value on the slate.
