Don't think we're getting out of here without talking about picking on the Atlanta Hawks. If you've been reading this column often, you know the drill. They combine a very high pace (1st in the NBA) with a poor defensive rating (26th) and shaky rebound rate (19th). No team allows more points, assists or steals per game to their opponents, and they also give up above-average numbers in rebounds and blocks.
Kawhi Leonard, as someone capable of filling up the box score in all five of those categories, gets a huge boost to both his floor and ceiling in this spot.
In his first season with the Toronto Raptors, Leonard has racked up career-highs in both points (27.3) and rebounds (7.9) per game, while adding 3.1 assists, 1.9 steals and 0.5 blocks per game. His 46.4 FanDuel points per game are a career-best.
He's coming off an uninspiring three-game stretch in which he hasn't managed to post more than 42.9 fantasy points in a game. That's a small blip, however, and if we expand our view back to his last 10 contests, we've seen him top 60 FanDuel points on three occasions, averaging 49.3 per. You can expect him to bounce back against the Hawks.
