Price: $12,500
This reduced workload may just be enough to knock Anthony Davis down a tier. He may have left the level of "absurd, historically unmatched fantasy production" and fallen down to just "top-tier fantasy stud." And that's okay, particularly with his salary down to $12,500.
He played only 25.8 minutes in his return from a nine-game injury absence, and he still managed 52.8 FanDuel points. AD got a more full workload in his next game (34.0 minutes), and despite putting up only 8 field goal attempts, he still had 52.2 FanDuel points.
It certainly helped his value that he was seeing minutes into the high-30's or low-40's before the injury and trade deadline debacle, but if he's going to still play mid-30's minutes, then we really don't need to be concerned -- especially considering he's on pace for the second-most FanDuel points per minute any player has ever recorded in a season, per StatMuse.
It comes as no surprise that our models project Davis for Tuesday's top fantasy score, and he's a top play in all formats.
