3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 2/14/19
After a dud in his last outing, Anthony Davis' salary has fallen significantly, making him super enticing tonight. Which other high-cost players should you zero in on?

Anthony Davis, PF/C, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Price: $9,000

There's been all kinds of speculation about Anthony Davis after his poor performance -- arguably the worst of his career -- in a 30-point loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday in New Orleans. He wants a trade, so is he simply not playing hard? Is it the team's fault for not playing him more? He did, after all play just 24 minutes. Does the Brow simply not care? Heck, Davis himself stated that "Nobody was interested in playing, is what it looked like."

Hey, maybe that's the case. But I wouldn't want to play either if my team was already down 22 points after the first quarter. We can probably just chalk up the dud to a bad night. Everybody has them, even entire teams. Davis and the Pels will look to get back on track today, and judging by the Vegas line, it seems there is a solid chance that they'll bounce back.

The Pelicans are only 5.0-point underdogs to the visiting Thunder in a game with a massive total of 236.5 points. That screams fantasy potential, and Davis and his diminished $9,000 DraftKings salary should be ready to pounce.

I'm not sure of the biggest game-to-game drop-off in DraftKings price, but Davis' $1,300 drop from his last game has to be up there. Take advantage here and use him against a team he's scored at least 50 DraftKings on eight of the past 10 times he's faced them. AD does bring some risk here, obviously, so don't be using him as a focal point of your 50/50 lineups. In tournaments, however, he offers the biggest potential upside of any player on the slate.
