5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 2/21/19
Boban Marjanovic is due for an uptick in minutes with Joel Embiid sidelined. Which other low-cost players can help fill out your DFS lineups?

One of the most significant changes to the FanDuel NBA landscape this year was the switch to the best-ball format. That is, the lowest score in your lineup is dropped. That has opened up avenues for DFS players to take more risk when building their lineups, and they should.

If you're looking for a potentially high-upside play tonight for minimum salary, consider using Philadelphia 76ers forward Jonah Bolden.

As I discussed with Boban Marjanovic, the Sixers' lineup isn't set in stone yet with Joel Embiid set to miss time. While Boban is certainly efficient in his fantasy scoring, he's not exactly the type of player who fits in well with Philly's up-tempo style of play. That's not to say he's not going to get playing time -- he most definitely should -- but the Sixers could decide that utilizing a combination of Bolden and Amir Johnson would lead to a much more effective transition from Embiid.

Bolden has played 20-plus minutes three times this season. He's scored 25.3, 17.1, and 31.3 FanDuel points in those games, respectively. It's a big ask for him to even get to the lowest of those totals tonight, but he is averaging a solid 0.92 FanDuel points per minute, meaning that he certainly has a chance to if given playing time. Fortunately, the Sixers play at 7:00 PM ET, so we should get a little more insight into his potential playing time before lock. He's still a dart throw, but thanks to the format you can rest easy knowing you can drop his score if he doesn't pan out.
