While it hasn’t been exactly vintage Dirk Nowitzki, over the last two games, the Mavericks legend has played his best ball of the season. The forward was on the court for over 25 minutes in both contests and dropped 44.4 total FanDuel points including a season-high 22.5 on Monday. He averaged 13.5 points on 12.0 shots per game while grabbing 3.4 rebounds per game.
The two games are not an anomaly, either, as the 41-year-old has ramped up his playing time, seeing at least 16.7 minutes in his past four games and in five of his last seven. He has finished with at least 17 FanDuel points in all five of those games, too.
If Dirk can push 20 minutes against an Indiana Pacers team that allows 0.99 FanDuel points per minute to power forwards -- the 12th-most in the league -- and will be without Sabonis, the future Hall of Famer is well worth the minimal investment on Wednesday.
