The Dallas Mavericks aren't often a team you look to for exciting fantasy value as they sit 20th in the NBA in offensive rating and 19th in pace. Luka Doncic has been able to produce some terrific numbers, though, and tonight's matchup with the Brooklyn Nets gives his fantasy value a nice boost.
Doncic has topped 47 FanDuel points in seven of his last 14 games, hitting 49.0 (5 points per $1,000 in salary at today's price) in five of those. He's averaging 44.6 fantasy points per game in that stretch, and he hasn't posted fewer than 39.8 FanDuel points in any of his last six.
The Mavs will be playing up in pace today (Brooklyn ranks 13th in pace), and they also stand to produce above-average numbers against the Nets' 18th-ranked defensive rating and 17th-ranked rebound rate.
Brooklyn will also be without Treveon Graham tonight, and while that may not seem like it would have a big impact, Graham ranks 19th among 108 shooting guards in ESPN's Defensive Real Plus-Minus metric. His absence makes this an even softer defensive matchup, especially for Doncic on the wing.
