DraftKings Price: $3,400
Start with a backup player, add in a sprinkling of injuries, throw in a few minutes of court time, and you got a DFS value stew goin'!
That player is Milwaukee Bucks wing Pat Connaughton. The injuries are to Sterling Brown and George Hill, both of whom are out again tonight. Oh yeah -- and the former Notre Dame star has seen at least 25 minutes of run in four straight games; he scored at least 21.5 DraftKings points in each of those contests.
Tonight, brings a choice matchup against the Phoenix Suns in a game the Bucks are favored by 12.5 points. The Bucks could legitimately have this game over by the third quarter or earlier, meaning Connaughton could see closer to 30 minutes than the mid-20s he has been seeing over the past week.
He actually played 36 minutes in his last outing, but both Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon also missed that game. If they miss again, Connaughton would be in line for a similar amount of run and would instantly become one of the better value options on the slate, more so than he already is. We currently project him for 15.7 DraftKings points, but -- as he's shown four times in a row -- he could blow past that easily.
