DraftKings Price: $3,500
When Rodions Kurucs started earlier this season, it was an exercise in chaos. While he put up an okay 17.7 DraftKings points per game and had a few tournament-winning outbursts, his output was all over the place.
He went back to the bench after the All-Star break but earned a spot start against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. Given his 19-point, 6-rebound performance in a 39-point win over the Mavs, it's hard to see him not starting again this evening.
Despite his ups and downs, the minutes should be there once again. Plus, he'll get one of the best opponents possible for fantasy potential. The Nets play the Cleveland Cavaliers, who enter tonight's game with the worst defensive efficiency in the league.
With a total set at 228.0 points, there should be plenty of potential for Kurucs to return a strong value, especially at his minuscule $3,500 salary. We currently have him projected for 20.5 DraftKings points, a return of over 5.8 points per $1,000.
