He may not be affordable in fantasy for much longer, but Trae Young looks to a be a strong bet from here on out.

Coming off a month in which he averaged 23 points and nine assists, Trae Young remains on his heat of a streak, racking up 393 FanDuel points in his last nine games, which is good for third-highest in the league over the last two weeks (trailing only Russell Westbrook and LeBron James).

As the rookie becomes more acclimated, his production of course follows suit. Young missed at least five-times value only four times in the month of February and with a reasonable sticking price, there’s no reason to shy away from those expectations moving forward.

We’ve seen his salary tip the $9,000 mark in a couple spots recently (meh), but in games where you can roster Young in the $8,000 range, he offers great upside. An equation that combines bucket-getting, dimes (double-digit assist totals in seven games over the last month), and a situation where the young franchise player gets all the run he can handle as his team braces for the lottery means a green light you can roster with confidence.

Young and the Hawks face upcoming games against the Nets, Pelicans, and Grizzlies.
