3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 3/8/19
Tonight, Paul George looks to continue his dominance of the Los Angeles Clippers. Which other high-priced players are worth rostering on Friday's slate?

Kemba Walker, PG, Charlotte Hornets

DraftKings Price: $8,100

Each of the players on the first two slides is in the midst of a career scoring season; Kemba Walker is no different.

The Charlotte Hornets' star point guard is putting up 25.0 points per game this season, 1.8 more than his previous best set two years ago. He's done it with aggression and by jacking up shots from deep. I say jacking up because, while his 3.3 triples per game rank fifth in the league, his 35.6% shooting percentage from deep ranks just 92nd, a pretty huge discrepancy. Of course, DraftKings' scoring system isn't based on efficiency, so as long as Kemba keeps throwing up treys, there will be bonus points to be had.

Friday, he and the Hornets host the Washington Wizards. Kemba has torched Washington this year to the tune of 64.5 and 51.75 DraftKings points, respectively. While we don't project him to quite reach those levels, we do project him to get close. We have him pegged for 48.0 DraftKings points. That would equate to a value of just over 5.9 DraftKings points per $1,000, making him our highest-projected value play of any player over $8,000.
