DraftKings Price: $10,200
Jokic is in a great spot tonight, but for cash games Joel Embiid looks like the elite center play with Jimmy Butler resting for the Philadelphia 76ers. And in tournaments, you have the option to go with both if you can find the value to complement the big men on Tuesday's slate.
According to NBA Wowy, Embiid's fantasy-relevant numbers take significant jumps when Butler is off the floor. In a sample of 1,074 minutes, The Process has turned a 35.8% usage rate into 1.66 DraftKings points per minute, compared to marks of 33.2% and 1.47, respectively, in his time alongside Butler.
At that rate, Embiid would require a hair over 30 minutes to reach five-times value. But that doesn't account for a 223.0 over/under that gives Philadelphia the second-highest total (118.75) on the slate, with them 14.5-point favorites over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
After playing 27 minutes in his first game back from injury, Embiid should see around 30 so long as the Cavs keep it within range. For our models, we have him at 33.6 minutes and 52.3 DraftKings points, the latter coming in second among all players.
