DraftKings Price: $10,000
Both Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have been in a bit of a slump over the past week. Jokic has scored more than 50.0 DraftKings points just once in his past five games. Perhaps not that surprisingly, Denver is just 1-4 in those contests. That losing has caused their grip on the number two seed in the Western Conference to slip to just a two-game lead over the Houston Rockets, who have won nine in a row.
They'll look to get back on track tonight as they head back home after a three-game road swing to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jokic put up just seven points and 39.5 DraftKings points in their first meeting this season. Those were an aberration, however, as he's scored at least 50.0 DraftKings points in his other three most recent contests against them.
Jokic is also a much better player at home this year, averaging 3.1 more points, 1.2 more assists, 1.7 more rebounds, and a rather amazing 6.7 more DraftKings points per game (53.3 in all). He'll look to continue that home cooking tonight in a game that should be rather fantasy friendly with a total currently set at 227.5 points. Our models have him projected for 51.3 DraftKings points this evening, the third-highest total on the slate.
