C.J. McCollum has been ruled out again, so we can feel good about firing up Damian Lillard again tonight.
Dame has topped 60 FanDuel points in two of the three games he's played since McCollum went down, and he's dominating the offensive work in Portland, averaging 12.0 assists and 16.7 field goal attempts in 35.8 minutes per game in that stretch.
Of course, this huge boost doesn't come as any sort of a surprise. Lillard has played 2005 minutes alongside McCollum this season. In that sample he has a 27.4% usage rate, a 27.9% assist rate and averages 1.16 FanDuel points per minute. In 513 minutes played without McCollum, those marks jump to a 38.8% usage rate, 37.4% assist rate and 1.55 FanDuel points per minute. For context, those marks would be good for second, eighth and fifth in the NBA over the entire season.
So, while we've seen his salary climb significantly after he spent most of the last month priced in the high-$9,000s, he's still too cheap here, especially while the Blazers boast the slate's second-highest implied total (115.75) in tonight's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.
