5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 3/29/19
The Hawks are home to low-cost value in a projected high-scoring game with the Blazers. Where else can you look to save salary tonight?

Alex Len, C, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $4,400
Projected FanDuel Points: 19.1
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.34

Atlanta Hawks center Alex Len isn't often one thinks of using in fantasy unless he's spot-starting for an injured teammate, but as the season has been winding down, the sixth-year player has seen his usage rise.

His minutes increase has been the result of an injury, but not one that has caused him to see many starts. Since Omari Spellman went down in early March, Len has seen his minutes increase to 22.5 from 18.9, and his FanDuel output has risen as well.

Of course, John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon have both missed time since then, so it's best to look at games in which they were both healthy. In the eight games that they both played since Spellman went down, Len has scored more than 20 FanDuel points six times, including each of his past three games.

He's scored at least 22.5 FanDuel points in his past five and seven of his past right against tonight's opponent, the Portland Trail Blazers (including a 23.0-point effort in just 14 minutes when the teams played in January) . There will be ample opportunity for him to repeat those efforts tonight in a game with a 234.5 total, the highest on the slate. While there are certainly bigger names at the center position, Len is one strongly worth considering as a punt option this evening.
