DraftKings Price: $10,300
While there is definitely a risk when considering using LeBron James tonight, it's a well-calculated one. It's true that The King has been rested here and there over the past couple of weeks, but he hasn't been rested two games in a row. Given that he sat during Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz, the Los Angeles Lakers forward should be back on the court tonight and be ready to play 34-36 minutes.
The rest has helped elevate James' game. Since he started his load management routine on March 15, James has put up an average of 27.5 points, 8.3 boards, 11.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.3 triples, and 59.3 DraftKings points in 35.2 minutes per game. He's scored no lower than 53.5 DraftKings points in that span, and he'll look to better that output once again this evening as the team takes on Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets.
James has dominated the Hornets in recent matchups, scoring 56.5 or more DraftKings points in each of his past seven contests against them, including a 61.5-point effort when the two teams met in mid December. We currently project him for 52.7 DraftKings points tonight.
