DraftKings Price: $11,300
With James Harden dealing with a very strong blowout scenario at home against the New York Knicks, the player who tops our list for best DraftKings stud of the night is none other than Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook is coming off of a historic game, finishing with only the second 20-20-20 triple-double in NBA history. While that type of performance would be difficult to replicate, a regular triple-double certainly isn't.
Westbrook has six triple-doubles in his past 10 games and 31 for the season. While that doesn't match his NBA-record 42 set a couple of seasons ago, it's still ties for the third-most in a season in NBA history.
Westbrook has topped 60.0 DraftKings points six times in his past 10 games, including that 87.0-point monster on Tuesday. He scored only 37.0 DraftKings points when he faced off against the Detroit Pistons in December. To be fair, however, the game was over partway through the third quarter and he played just 28 minutes. He'd topped 60.0 DraftKings points against Detroit each of the four previous times they met.
We don't have him projected for quite that level tonight, pegging him for 58.9 DraftKings points. Don't worry, though; that's still easily the highest-projected total on the slate.
