Omri Casspi is a solid option tonight whether DeMarcus Cousins plays or not, but his value certainly improves if Cousins sits. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's potential, he hasn't emerged as a lock-down defender at the position yet. The Bucks are currently allowing the seventh-most points to opposing small forwards this year and the fourth-most three-point field goal attempts made. Casspi is sitting fifth in three-point field goal percentage made in the NBA at the moment, so this should bode well for him.
Casspi also spends time at power forward on occasion, and with Cousins iffy to play, we could see him log additional minutes there. If he does, his ceiling increases, as the Bucks are even worse at defending the frontcourt positions -- they're allowing the second-most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards. Casspi's ability to knock down threes would really test this Bucks' defense if the Kings opt to use him for any substantial amount of time at power forward this evening.
