3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/14/16
Steph Curry has a great matchup tonight against the Pelicans. Who else is primed for a huge fantasy night?

Russell Westbrook, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

Price: $10,400

Russell Westbrook has been the top fantasy scorer in the league this season, averaging a league-high 49.0 FanDuel points per game. His production has more or less matched that over the past month as well, averaging 24.0 points, 11.9 assists and 7.2 rebounds, good for 48.8 FanDuel points per game, while sporting a 29.3 percent Usage Rate.

He has an interesting matchup tonight against Portland. The Blazers are a below-average defensive unit, ranking 19th with a 107.2 Defensive Efficiency. They're also forcing the fifth-lowest Turnover Rate and allowing their opponents to get to the free throw line at a rate that is well above league average.

The Thunder obviously have two viable fantasy studs any time they're in a matchup this good, in Westbrook and Kevin Durant, but tonight things shape up nicely for Westbrook.

Portland is allowing above-average fantasy production to opposing point guards, while they're giving up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to small forwards. Al-Farouq Aminu is one of the Blazers' best defenders and will start the game on Durant. Westbrook will be matched up with Damian Lillard, whose 109 Defensive Rating is one of the worst on the team. With Durant facing a tougher matchup, we can expect to see Westbrook shoulder a huge workload.

Our numbers are high on Westbrook tonight as well, projecting him for 50.77 FanDuel points, the highest of the evening.
