Well, there wasn't much of an MVP debate this season -- we can all blame Stephen Curry for that.

Even while boasting two other formidable All-Stars and a cast of astute veterans, the Golden State Warriors' record-breaking success relied heavily on the not-so-broad shoulders of the oh-so-skilled Curry. For the second year in a row, Curry has been crowned the league MVP, this time in unanimous fashion -- a first in the NBA.

Sure, this was a runaway, but who joined Curry as a top-five finisher in our nERD rankings for the 2015-16 regular season?

For those unfamiliar, nERD is our in-house metric that measures a player's contributions throughout the course of a season based on their efficiency. Comparable to Win Shares, this ranking gives an estimate of how many games above or below .500 a league-average team would win with that player as one of their starters. The rating will represent a player's total contribution during an 82-game season, not just the games played so far this year.
