It's a strange night in injuries for fantasy hoops. There are eight games on this Monday slate, and for most of the teams on the injury report today, if they are dealing with one injury, chances are they're dealing with multiple injuries.
This could lead to some nice value plays being opened up tonight, so check out which injuries we are tracking heading into roster lock later tonight.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs are falling on hard times health-wise, and their injury report has the biggest name on it by far among tonight's games. Kawhi Leonard is questionable tonight after going through concussion protocol. If he does not play, Jonathon Simmons and Kyle Anderson will both be in play tonight.
With Dejounte Murray and Tony Parker also out tonight, Patrick Mills and Manu Ginobili gain a lot of value. Plus, with the sad news about LaMarcus Aldridge, David Lee has become a very intriguing value option.
Utah Jazz
Derrick Favors will be out tonight for the Utah Jazz because to a bone bruise in his knee. Boris Diaw picks up some value with this news, but it might just mean more shots and rebounds for guys like Rudy Gobert, Gordon Hayward, Rodney Hood and George Hill. Gobert went through shootaround this morning, so he looks good to go tonight.
Denver Nuggets
Both Jameer Nelson and Wilson Chandler are questionable on Monday, which could open up some great value. If Chandler is out, Will Barton and Juan Hernangomez are nice options. If Nelson is out, Jamal Murray could end up as one of the top plays of the night assuming Emmanuel Mudiay is still buried on the Denver Nuggets' bench.
Charlotte Hornets
Frank Kaminsky went through shootaround this morning, which bodes well for his availability tonight. Cody Zeller will lose some value if Kaminsky is back in action. Nicolas Batum is dealing with migraines and is questionable. If he can't play, expect plenty of shots from Kemba Walker, and look for Jeremy Lamb and Marco Belinelli to be in play tonight.
Milwaukee Bucks
Both Malcolm Brogdon and Mirza Teletovic went through shootaround for the Milwaukee Bucks this morning, and both will be available to play tonight for Milwaukee.
Nerlens Noel, Dallas Mavericks
Nerlens Noel has already been ruled out for Monday night, but he says he could be ready to play on Wednesday. The only real beneficiary of Noel sitting is Dirk Nowitzki.
DeMarre Carroll, Toronto Raptors
DeMarre Carroll did not play Saturday, and it led to Norman Powell being a fine value play. That could happen once again if Carroll is out, but as of this afternoon, there haven't been any updates on the Toronto Raptors' swingman.
