There are plenty of players resting tonight with the playoff picture almost completely wrapped up. Check out which guys are out and which value plays may be opening up because of it.
Oklahoma City Thunder
After clinching the 6 seed and getting Russell Westbrook his triple-doubles record, the Oklahoma City Thunder will give Westbrook, Taj Gibson and Andre Roberson the night off to rest on Tuesday. Doug McDermott is also out tonight, so look for Victor Oladipo, Kyle Singler, Jerami Grant and Enes Kanter to all be strong DFS plays.
Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets will be without Danilo Gallinari, Will Barton, Jameer Nelson and Kenneth Faried, which leaves a lot of room for value in Denver. Nikola Jokic should be plenty busy while Gary Harris, Emmanuel Mudiay, Jamal Murray and Juan Hernangomez are all viable options.
Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns are resting Devin Booker in their final game of the season while Marquese Chriss might be in danger of missing tonight after knocking his knee with another player two nights ago. If Chriss is out, Dragan Bender is a sneaky play tonight and with Booker already out, Tyler Ulis, Derrick Jones Jr. and Ronnie Price all see a bump.
D'Angelo Russell, Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers have been winning a lot recently. They have won four in a row and more winning would put them in danger of losing their first round pick. They will get some help towards losing tonight as D'Angelo Russell is away from the team due to the death of his grandmother. Without Russell, the Lakers will lean more heavily on Jordan Clarkson while Tyler Ennis also seems like a strong play. Julius Randle could see a bump in usage, as well.
Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets
Kemba Walker is still being held out for the Charlotte Hornets, which should mean Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Nicolas Batum have some added value. Brian Roberts started for Walker in their last game while Jeremy Lamb and Briante Weber should get a boost tonight, as well.
Thabo Sefolosha, Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks need a win to lock up the 5 seed in the East, and their only questionable player tonight is Thabo Sefolosha. Keep an eye on his status as he could take minutes away from Tim Hardaway Jr. if he suits up.
