With four games to choose from on tonight's NBA slate, let's take a look at how to utilize the DFS possibilities. Here are some of the top plays and sleepers on DraftKings. As always, good luck.
Point Guard
Devonte' Graham ($8,300) -- Graham is averaging 28.6 points over his last five games, and his stock is rising for the Hornets. Graham hit the game-clinching shot against the Nets in a 40-point night for the 24-year-old guard. In his second year, he's averaging 20 points and is sixth in assists with 7.6 per game. Over his last six games, he's hitting 5.3 triples on 11.3 attempts and 5.0 of 6.0 free throws per game.
Evan Fournier ($6,400) -- The Magic are almost done with a grueling three-game stretch against three of the top teams in the league. Tonight, Orlando takes on Houston after James Harden's 55-point game. The Magic will be all hands on deck defensively and shooting threes at will to stay in the game. Fournier is hitting 4.0 of 7.8 triples in his last six games and averaging 24.3 points during that stretch. He's the top scoring threat for the Magic tonight.
Shooting Guard
Zach LaVine ($8,000) -- Reports came out that LaVine was dealing with a shoulder injury, but after his last game, it doesn't appear that he's dealing with anything after scoring 35 points and going 7 for 7 from three against the Hawks. The Bulls host the Hornets tonight in what will be a scorer's delight between LaVine and Devonte' Graham. LaVine has scored 25 or more in 6 of the last 10 games.
James Harden ($12,600) -- There might not be any way to follow up what Harden just did to the Cavs, but he will try his luck in Orlando versus another weak defensive guard duo. Harden is on another 50-watch tonight, and it would be his 5th game over 50 points and his 10th over 40. He's the best scorer in the game and a must-play tonight as the head of your lineup. Our model projects Harden as the top scorer with 34.1 points tonight.
Small Forward
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,200) -- My favorite Giannis stat this season is he's had 17-straight games with at least one made three-pointer. He's developing a jump shot and three-point shot to likely turn into the most unguardable player along with Harden. He took the last game off for rest and is questionable against the Grizzlies without star rookie Ja Morant in the lineup. Giannis is averaging 30.9 points and 13.5 rebounds, both good enough for top five in the league.
LeBron James ($10,000) -- LeBron has posted 15 straight games of 20 or more points, and he's double-doubled in 11 of those 15. The King currently leads the league in assists with 10.8 per game and is ninth in scoring with 25.8 points per game. He returns to Miami where he spent four years and went to four straight finals. He should be in for a big night and is potentially on triple-double watch here as he makes himself at home.
Power Forward
Lauri Markkanen ($6,300) -- Markkanen has finally picked up his play for the Bulls as his November was atrocious by his standards. The Finnish big man averaged 11.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in November and has already jumped up to 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in six games in December. He's scored 20 or more points in four of his last six, a feat he's done once in the past 19 games. He's finally heating up, and versus the Hornets, he can score another 20 and possibly get his third double-double of the year.
Domantas Sabonis ($8,100) -- Sabonis continued his streak of 19 straight double-doubles in a win over the Celtics, and now the Pacers travel to Atlanta for the 6-19 Hawks. The Hawks are still without John Collins, so Sabonis' double-double streak should hit 20 without any problems. Our model projects him at 18.8 points and 11.9 rebounds tonight.
Center
Clint Capela ($7,800) -- Capela has three straight double-doubles and recorded 13 in his last 14 games. He's second in rebounding with 14.7 per game and is averaging 12.6 points and 14.8 rebounds over his past five games. The Magic draw a favorable matchup for him considering Anthony Davis ($10,100) had a double-double at halftime versus them in his last game.
Mitchell Robinson ($5,700) -- Robinson and the New York Knicks take on the Kings after their overtime win versus the Warriors, and he's a low-risk, high-reward player tonight. Robinson is averaging 11.6 points and 8.4 rebounds over his past five games. He had 10 points and 5 rebounds, going a perfect 4 for 4 from the field in 25 minutes versus the Kings earlier in the season off the bench. Look for him to build off his recent success while they're on their west coast trip.
