One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.
Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup tonight.
Raymond Felton, PG, Dallas Mavericks
FanDuel Price: $5,300
Raymond Felton was recommended for Game 2, and he came through in a big way with 37 fantasy points, which was almost eight times his cost (points per $1,000 in salary).
With Jose Juan Barea doubtful again and Deron Williams still banged up, let's roll Felton out there again. His price did jump $600 from last game, but even with the increased cost, there is a good chance he hits at least five to six times his price tag.
Last game, Felton scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds while logging 42 minutes. Barea missing tonight will allow Felton to play extended minutes again.
Keep an eye on Williams' status. If D-Will sits out, Felton needs to be in almost every lineup.
Enes Kanter, C, Oklahoma City Thunder
FanDuel Price: $4,500
Enes Kanter has been a per-minute stud all year for Oklahoma City. Per NBAWowy.com, Kanter is averaging 1.1 fantasy points per minute this season. To help put that in context, both Paul George and Damian Lillard are averaging 1.1 fantasy points per minute as well. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Kanter only plays just over 20 minutes per game.
In Game 1, Kanter scored 31 fantasy points but then followed up that performance with just 16.6 fantasy points in Game 2. He played five extra minutes in the first contest due to a blow out victory for the Thunder.
His price is significantly better on FanDuel than on DraftKings, and he is a lock to play at least 20 minutes.
Patrick Patterson, PF, Toronto Raptors
FanDuel Price: $3,900
The sub-$4,000 price tag is extremely appealing for Patrick Patterson. Patterson is averaging 21.2 fantasy points over the first two games of the series with an average value of 5.6.
Power forward is a shallow position tonight, and Patterson offers a chance to fade the position altogether and save money. He is playing around 30 minutes per contest and is averaging 0.62 fantasy points per minute on the year.
Patterson may not have as high of a ceiling as most fantasy players would like. However, he is pretty safe in terms of a points-per-dollar standpoint.
So far in the series against Indiana, Patterson is averaging 11.5 points and 6 rebounds.
