New Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a fractured left pinky.
Payton is expected to miss approximately six weeks. During Payton's previous absence, Jrue Holiday shifted to point guard and Wes Johnson entered the starting lineup.
Payton is averaging 24.7 FanDuel points through six games, with 9.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 0.8 steals per contest.
