The Dallas Mavericks have traded forward Harrison Barnes to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph.
Barnes owns a player option for 2019-20, and the Mavericks need to clear space for a max contract offer for Kristaps Porzingis, so the move is not a surprise. The Mavericks take on an expiring contract in Randolph but add a quality young wing in Jackson as well. Barnes will likely slot into the open starting forward spot in the Kings' lineup as they make a push for the playoffs over the next couple of months.
Barnes has averaged 17.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 26.2 FanDuel points per game this season.
