The Milwaukee Bucks are acquiring forward Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for guard/forward Stanley Johnson, forward/center Jason Smith, and 4 second-round picks (2019 via the Denver Nuggets, 2020 via the Washington Wizards, 2020, 2021 via the Wizards), reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Mirotic will likely work as the Bucks' sixth man and he should see plenty of open looks from downtown on a team that takes the second-most 3-point attempts in the league. Ersan Ilyasova and D.J. Wilson will lose playing time once Mirotic is settled in, but he hasn't played since January 23 due to a calf strain.
Mirotic averaged 31.4 FanDuel points in 32 games for the Pelicans this season, with 16.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.7 triples per contest.
