The New York Knicks are releasing center Enes Kanter, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
This was an expected move, but it shouldn't take long for Kanter to sign with a new team. He turns 27 in May.
Kanter averaged 30.1 FanDuel points over 44 games (23 starts) for the Knicks, with 14.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in 25.6 minutes per contest.
