Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook (rest) is not expected to play on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies, per head coach Mike D'Antoni.
This comes after Westbrook had his worst game of the season on Sunday in an embarrassing 129-100 blowout loss to the Miami Heat. He finished with 10 points (3-of-11 field goals, 3-of-6 free throws), 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 3-pointer, and 7 turnovers in 26.2 minutes. It was the first time he shot below 40.0 percent from the field through six games. If Westbrook is ruled out, look for James Harden to run the offense more. Austin Rivers and Chris Clemons would also benefit.
Westbrook is averaging 50.1 FanDuel points to start his Rockets tenure. numberFire's models project him for 21.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.7 3-pointers per game over the rest of the year.
