Miami Heat guard/forward Jimmy Butler (health protocols) has been ruled out again for Wednesday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Wednesday is the front end of a back-to-back for Miami, and there is reportedly optimism that Butler will return this week, so he could be cleared for Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. After that, the Heat will face the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. Tyler Herro (neck) is questionable for Wednesday, as are Goran Dragic (groin), Avery Bradley (protocols), and Gabe Vincent (ankle). Kendrick Nunn will likely lose the most value once Butler and Herro are both cleared.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with a 32.4 percent usage rate on Monday while Nunn was second at 24.2 percent off the bench. Herro has a 26.0 percent usage rate when Butler isn't on the floor this season.
