Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic (wrist, calf) plans to return for Friday's game against the Orlando Magic, reports NBC Sports Northwest.
Nurkic's wrist was cleared a while back but he missed additional time after straining his calf earlier this month. His return should be a boost for the Trail Blazers as a whole but Enes Kanter will move back to the second unit and his production will take a hit. Nurkic is averaging 9.8 points and 7.7 rebounds over 12 games this season.
numberFire's models currently expect Nurkic to play 18.5 minutes in his first game back and project him for 20.0 FanDuel points.
