Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will not play Sunday in the team's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
There was no prior word of any injury situation for Lowry, so this comes as a surprise. With the veteran point guard on the sidelines, Rodney Hood could be in line for a start on the wing if Fred VanVleet shifts over to the main ball-handler role.
In 38 games this season, Lowry has averaged 17.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 35.9 FanDuel points.
