Atlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter will undergo surgery on a tendon injury in his right wrist and miss approximately two months, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Hunter injured his wrist last Monday and tried playing through it on Friday, but he left early after shooting just 1-for-6 from the field and said his release didn't feel right. Kevin Huerter replaced Hunter in the starting lineup, and he and Cam Reddish will both see more playing time with Hunter sidelined. Bogdan Bogdanovic is also in line for a larger role on offense.
Huerter is numberFire's fifth-best point-per-dollar value on Monday's board. He has a $4,200 salary and our models project him for 24.3 FanDuel points. Huerter scored 40.1 FanDuel points against the Utah Jazz last week in a game without Hunter.
