Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant will be out indefinitely for the team after tearing ligaments in this thumb, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
This is a really, really tough blow for Detroit. Per Charania's reporting, it seems as though the team will be without its best player for a while. In his absence, expect a lot of playing time for Trey Lyles and Josh Jackson, and Jamorko Pickett could enter the rotation.
In 24 games this season, Grant has averaged 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and 34.4 FanDuel points.
