Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Cody Martin (quad) is doubtful to play on Wednesday versus the New York Knicks.
Martin played one minute off the bench in the season opener before leaving with a quad injury. He hasn't played since and the Hornets said it's unclear when Martin will return. James Bouknight and Dennis Smith Jr. will continue to have more minutes available in the meantime, especially with LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Terry Rozier (ankle) still unavailable.
numberFire's models project Bouknight for 19.6 minutes and 16.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday. DSJ is projected for 34.8 minutes and 35.2 FanDuel points against the Knicks. In the Hornets' last game, Bouknight scored 17.2 FanDuel points in 17.7 minutes and had the second-highest usage rate (23.1%) in the rotation. DSJ scored 39.4 FanDuel points in 33.5 minutes and was third with a 22.7% usage rate.
