Chris Paul (hip) ruled out again Wednesday for Suns

Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul (hip) has been ruled out for Wednesday versus the Denver Nuggets.

What It Means:

Paul will remain out for a third straight contest on Wednesday night in the second leg of a back-to-back for the Suns. Landry Shamet (hip), Devin Booker (groin), and Cameron Payne (foot) have also been ruled out again, so Duane Washington Jr. figures to draw another start. Damion Lee and Josh Okogie will have more minutes available off the bench again. Washington replaced Shamet in the starting lineup on Tuesday and scored 21 points (6-17 field goals, 5-9 3-pointers, 4-4 free throws) with 1 rebound, 5 assists, and 1 steal in 27 minutes.

Washington scored 28.7 FanDuel points as a starter on Tuesday and he has a $5,700 salary on Wednesday's eight-game slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Suns’ implied total (106.75) is the lowest of the day and the game total (226.5) is tied for the lowest on the board.
