The Sacramento Kings are acquiring small forward Kessler Edwards from the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
The Nets will free up a roster spot and save a total of $8,000,000 in salary and luxury tax. Edwards only averaged 5.6 minutes across 14 appearances for the Nets this season. The Kings reportedly intend to put Edwards in the G League, but they could move him again by Thursday's trade deadline.
Edwards averaged 0.54 FanDuel points per minute for the Nets this season, down from 0.66 FanDuel points per minute last year as a rookie.
