The San Antonio Spurs acquired power forward Khem Birch, a protected 2024 first-round pick, and two second-round picks from the Toronto Raptors for center Jakob Poeltl.
Birch hasn't appeared in a game since December 29, but he might have a better chance at entering the rotation in San Antonio. Zach Collins is expected to replace Poeltl as the Spurs' starting center, so Birch will likely be competing for playing time with fellow backups Isaiah Roby, Charles Bassey, and Dewayne Dedmon.
Birch averaged 5.3 FanDuel points in 8.1 minutes over 20 games for the Raptors this season.
