Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (left finger sprain injury management) is out Tuesday versus the Charlotte Hornets.
Mitchell injured his finger a week ago, but it hadn't caused him to miss any games. The Cavaliers play again on Wednesday versus the Philadelphia 76ers, so this might be more of a breather for Mitchell before the second leg of the back-to-back. Caris LeVert is expected to replace Mitchell in the starting lineup and there should be more minutes for Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto off the Cleveland bench. Darius Garland will also have more ball-handling duties.
Over nine games without Mitchell this season, Garland is leading the Cavaliers with a 30.5% usage rate while averaging 36.3 minutes in 47.2 FanDuel points per game. He has a $8,800 salary on Tuesday and is the sixth-best point-per-dollar value in our projections. Rubio ($4,600) is currently our top value on the board.
