Sacramento Kings point guard Darren Collison was arrested on a domestic violence charge.
According to CBS Sacramento, Collison was booked into Placer County Jail on one count of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant and a bench warrant of driving while his license was revoked. Details are still coming out, but the Kings have already released a statement on the arrest: "We’ve been made aware of the situation. The Sacramento Kings condemn violence of any kind. We are gathering additional information and once all facts are known we will take appropriate steps."
Collison ranked 66th with a 1.4 nERD in 74 games (15 starts) this season. He averaged 14.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.2 3-pointers on a career-high 59.1 True Shooting Percentage.
