Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Greg Monroe is being aggressively shopped by the team, according to Michael Scotto of Sheridan Hoops.
This isn't the first time trade rumors have swirled around Monroe, and it's less than surprising after a season where the big man appeared to be a faulty fit in Milwaukee on the defensive end. Monroe is under contract with the Bucks through the end of next season and he also has a player option for the 2017-18 season, but it's hard to imagine the Bucks getting a lot in return for their 26-year-old. John Henson would be the biggest beneficiary in the event that Monroe is shipped out of Milwaukee, with Utah center Jakob Poeltl also likely moving up the Bucks' draft board as a potential option for the 10th pick in this week's draft.
Monroe averaged 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists with 0.8 blocks per game on a 52.2 Effective Field Goal Percentage this past season.
