Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
Tatum has been downgraded from questionable. His next chance to play will be on Wednesday versus the Timberwolves in the front end of a back-to-back, so Tatum could wind up missing multiple games this week. Sam Hauser (shoulder) has also been ruled out for Monday's matchup. Payton Pritchard, Oshae Brissett, and Svi Mykhailiuk will have more minutes available, while Derrick White, Kristaps Porzingis (eye), and Jaylen Brown should have more ball-handling opportunities versus a poor Pacers defense.
White is averaging 50.7 FanDuel points without Tatum this season, a positive differential of 17.3 FanDuel points from his average when they play together. Porzingis is averaging 52.8 (plus-16.8) and Brown averages 44.0 (plus-7.9) FanDuel points when Tatum is out.
