The Detroit Pistons have acquired Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala via trade with the Washington Wizards, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
The Pistons are reportedly sending Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers, and two second-round picks to the Wizards in exchange for Gallinari and Muscala, who are both on expiring deals. The pair had two combined starts for the Wizards so far this year, but it's clear the Pistons are trying to shake things up.
Gallinari, coming off of an ACL tear, was averaging 16.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per 36 minutes off the bench for Washington this year. If this isn't part of a larger deal, both he and Muscala could see relevant minutes for Detroit.
