Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles/groin) said he will be a game-time decision on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Davis left in the third quarter of Monday's loss to the Houston Rockets and didn't return to the game. He was questionable heading into the contest due to an Achilles injury, but Davis said his groin injury started bothering him in the second half and limited his ability to move on the court. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Lakers give the banged-up big man the night off on the second leg of a back-to-back. That would open up more minutes for Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood, and Rui Hachimura in the frontcourt.
Davis has an $11,300 salary on Tuesday and numberFire's models project him to lead all players with 55.6 FanDuel points over 37.7 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Lakers-Hawks game total (246.5) is highest out of the five games being played today.
