The New York Knicks acquired guard Alec Burks and guard/forward Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) from the Detroit Pistons for guard Quentin Grimes (knee), guard Malachi Flynn, guard/forward Evan Fournier, guard Ryan Arcidiacono, and two second-round picks.
Burks spent two seasons with the Knicks before joining the Pistons before the 2022 season. He averaged 21.0 minutes off the bench for Detroit this year and should play a similar role in New York.
Burks averaged 19.5 FanDuel points in 21.0 minutes per game for Detroit this season, with 12.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.3 three-pointers.
