Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is questionable for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to left ankle soreness.
Edwards tweaked his ankle in Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers and went to the locker room, but he returned and finished with 44 points. If the Timberwolves hold Edwards out for the second end of the back-to-back, Nickeil Alexander-Walker could draw his 18th start of the season. Mike Conley and Kyle Anderson would also have more ball-handling opportunities.
numberFire's models project Edwards for 35.4 minutes and 40.3 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Timberwolves' implied total (103.25) is second-lowest out of 12 teams on the Main slate today.
