Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Kawhi Leonard (right knee soreness) is out for Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings.
This will be Leonard's second missed game since the All-Star break, but the other one came on the second leg of a back-to-back. It sounds like a minor injury, so Leonard will likely be back for Thursday's game against the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers said Norman Powell will replace Leonard in the lineup and make his second start of the season on Tuesday night. His first start was against the Kings in February, when Paul George was inactive. There should also be more minutes for Amir Coffey and Russell Westbrook off the bench.
Westbrook is averaging an additional 3.8 minutes (25.8) and 6.6 FanDuel points (31.9) per game without Kawhi this season. Powell scored 28.4 FanDuel points in his only other start, on February 25 against the Kings.
