Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwyane Wade will not play when the Bulls take on the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
This was the expectation when Wade played on the first half of the back-to-back last night, but with Jimmy Butler (illness) also ruled out, the Bulls are getting very thin on the wing. Denzel Valentine and Jerian Grant should see meaningful minutes tonight, while Rajon Rondo may also find his way back into the rotation thanks to the lack of depth.
Our models do account for Rondo returning to the rotation, projecting him for 5.1 points, 4.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 19.5 minutes of action.
