Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon won the 3-Point Contest on Saturday night.
Gordon finished the final round tied with the Cleveland Cavaliers Kyrie Irving with 20 points but won 21-19 in a tiebreaker. Gordon became the first player in Rockets' history to win the event. The former New Orleans Pelican enters the second half having made the fourth-most three-pointers in the NBA with 184.
Gordon is averaging 17.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.5 threes per game while posting a 38.5% three-point shooting percentage.
