The Hawks have suspended Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder for one game for failing to report to the team on time after the All-Star break.
Head coach Mike Budenholzer said the team is "disappointed" in Schroder, but also acknowledged the "important role" he serves and that they "look forward to him rejoining the team in Orlando [Saturday] night" for their matchup with the Magic. Schroder's absence against the Miami Heat on Friday night likely means rookie Malcolm Delaney will make the first start of his career. The rookie costs the minimum $3,500 on FanDuel and has plenty of streaming appeal.
Delaney is averaging 12.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals per-36 minutes this season. He's shooting 39.0 percent from the field and currently ranks second-last on the Hawks with a -3.8 nERD.
